Principles of Data Processing
Personal data is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person. An IP address is the address with which an internet user is active on the internet. In the vast majority of cases, IP addresses are “dynamically assigned”, which means that the assignment of a real person to an IP address only exists for a certain period of time. Internet providers regularly delete these tables in which these assignments are stored after a few weeks. It is then no longer possible to determine who was active with a specific IP address at a specific time.

When you contact us
If you contact us by email, we will store the data you provide (name, email address) in our secure internal systems.
If you send us personal data by email – i.e. outside of this website – we cannot guarantee secure transmission and protection of your data. We recommend that you never transmit confidential data unencrypted by email.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR – it serves the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measure. In other words, we store your data for the purpose of processing your request and for follow-up questions.
Storage period: In the course of processing orders, customer data must be kept for at least as long as provided for in other legal provisions. If no order is concluded, we will delete your request soon.
When you visit our website
Logfiles
Our website and our emails are hosted by all-inkl.com (ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, D-02742 Friedersdorf). You can read the privacy policy of all-inkl here.
When you use our website, all-inkl.com collects the following data that is technically necessary to display our website to you:
- IP address of the requesting computer

- Name and URL of the accessed file
- Website from which access is made (referrer URL)

These data automatically transmitted by your browser are stored in so-called log files.
When you browse the internet, you are temporarily assigned an IP address. (You are given a so-called “dynamic” IP address for a session on the internet.) The person or device associated with a specific IP address at a given time can only be traced for a certain period of time. Specifically, as long as your internet service provider has stored in its log file which person was using which IP address at what time. The provider is obligated to store the log file for a certain period of time so that investigations can be conducted in case of criminal attacks to determine who is behind them. The data in the log file is not merged with other data sources. We reserve the right to review this data retrospectively if we become aware of concrete evidence of illegal use.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR – it is necessary for the performance of a contract or for pre-contractual measures. Without the aforementioned data, we cannot provide you with access to the content of our website.
Storage period: all-inkl.com stores the IP addresses of website visitors for a maximum of seven days. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is essential for the operation of the website. Therefore, the user does not have the option to object. Further storage may occur on a case-by-case basis if required by law.

In our blog, where we publish various posts on relevant topics, you can leave public comments. When you submit a comment, it will be published under the corresponding post with the username you provided (potentially pseudonymous). Providing your website is optional. When you leave a comment, your email and IP address will be stored internally. This is done because we may be liable for the publication of unlawful content. We reserve the right to delete comments that may contain illegal content.
If you have a WordPress account, you can log in with your WordPress account to leave comments. This way, you don’t have to enter your name, email address, and website each time you comment. The cookie set during this process is valid for one year. When you visit our login page, a temporary cookie is set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.
Legal basis is Art 6 para 1 lit a GDPR, the consent of the data subject. By submitting your comment, you automatically agree to the publication of your comment on our website.
Storage duration: Comments remain on our website until you explicitly request their deletion. If you request the deletion of your comments, we will delete all personal data (your name, email address, and – if provided – your website address). The anonymized comment text will remain.
When you subscribe to our newsletter
If you have explicitly consented, we will use your email address to send you our newsletter regularly. Once you have signed up for the newsletter, you will receive an email with a link to confirm your registration. Only when you have clicked on this confirmation (double opt-in) will you actually receive the newsletter.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and also adjust your preferences. To do this, it is best to use the personalized links that you can find in the footer of each newsletter. Your data will be transferred to MailChimp (The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308 USA). The following data will be stored at MailChimp: Name, email address, time and IP address of the opt-in, time and IP address of the confirmation (double opt-in), geographic data (to determine where in the world subscribers are located), time zone (used for sending at a certain predetermined time), as well as your preferences (selection of which information you want to receive from us).
Since December 2021, MailChimp has become part of the larger company “Intuit.” There are no significant changes to the data processing. The privacy information from Intuit can be found here.
Legal basis: I send my newsletter based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) or due to legal provisions for existing customers (sending the newsletter as a result of the sale of goods or services, Telecommunications Act, § 7 para. 3 UWG.
The data transfer to the USA is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses provided by Mailchimp. There is a data processing agreement with Mailchimp in place.
After evaluating various providers, we have concluded that the transfer of email addresses to a US provider does not pose a high risk to the rights of the data subjects, as these are not sensitive data and the nature of the information we send does not allow conclusions to be drawn about sensitive data such as political beliefs, health issues, or religious orientation. If you do not agree to the transfer of your data to Mailchimp, then please do not subscribe to our newsletter or unsubscribe.
Storage period: Your data will remain stored in the newsletter system until you unsubscribe or request deletion from us.
